odd.WHO WE ARE
odd.DESIGN was founded by architect Alexandros Paradissis in 2025 as a platform for collaborative, concept-driven architecture. While the studio began as a personal vision, it is actively seeking collaborations with a wider creative network—designers, consultants, and makers who share a commitment to thoughtful, character-rich spaces.
Alexandros Paradissis is an architect whose work moves fluidly across scales—from the intimacy of crafted interiors to the complexity of large construction projects. His studies at the Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow shaped a thoughtful, research-based approach to design, grounded in curiosity, sensitivity, and imagination.
Early exposure to large-scale construction environments taught him the value of precision, coordination, and the importance of structure—both physical and organizational. He gained an understanding of how buildings are not only designed, but also delivered, learning to navigate constraints with clarity and resolve.
In contrast, working in smaller design studios offered a deeper connection to the emotional and spatial qualities of architecture. Here, he refined his aesthetic language, focusing on the tactile, the atmospheric, and the experiential. Through hands-on involvement in all stages of design, he developed a keen intuition for materials, proportions, and the human scale.
Alongside this, his engagement with digital and immersive design expanded his perspective on how people interact with space—physically, emotionally, and even virtually.
In 2025, he founded odd.DESIGN as a space to bring all these layers together: an architectural studio that values bold thinking, subtle detail, and the creation of spaces that feel both surprising and deeply familiar.
